My name is Renee’ and art is something that has always come naturally to me, just as Mr. Frank Schlumpf who was the first person in my life to pull the true artist out of me. To say he was thrilled when he found out about this venture is an understatement. I was born in Lake County, Illinois and was raised in Blanchardville, Wisconsin, where I stayed until 1990. In 1990 I knew it was time to spread my wings, so I ventured off to New Mexico for year, Denver for 12 years, Florida for a year and then in 2002 I made my way back home. In 2007 I met Mike and it was an instant attraction. We spent every waking moment together and I quickly learned of his passion for glass blowing. We threw the idea around for a while and finally decided to jump in with both feet and, well, here we are. We bought our initial studio set-up and have expanded more than I thought we were going to in the first year, though I am THRILLED with how far we have taken this little project. You will see that the site is focused around Mike (hence the business name), though you will start to see more and more from me as time goes on.
